LivingSoiLL will establish 5 Living Labs contributing to Soil Mission Objectives

The Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe’ (Mission Soil) aims to raise awareness and ensure the long-term health and productivity of soils on all types of land. Living labs and lighthouses are a core element of the mission through which already existing and new knowledge created under the R&I programme, and knowledge from actors on the ground will be further transformed into innovations with real impact and a high potential for rapid uptake by land managers and other relevant actors (e.g. industry, consumers etc.) across Europe. The mission objectives will be supported by the LivingSoiLL project through the establishment of 5 Living Labs across Portugal, France, Spain, Italy, and Poland, focused on permanent crops such as vineyards, olive groves, chestnuts, hazelnuts, and apple orchards.
