Consortium Meets Online to Review Progress and Accelerate Implementation Across Living Labs

On 13 February 2026, LivingSoiLL partners gathered online for the Consortium Meeting, bringing together representatives from all partners. Together, they assessed progress, aligned priorities, and discussed key challenges.

To guide the discussion the agenda followed a structured format covering project management, Living Lab implementation, research and monitoring progress, communication and dissemination activities, and business model development.

The day began with WP1 discussions on project management. These focused on financial and technical coordination, quality assurance, risk management, and KPI tracking.

Subsequently, a central part of the agenda focused on the 5 regional Living Labs and their ongoing implementation activities. Partners shared updates on:

  • Integration of new stakeholders through the Open Call
  • Status of solution implementation across experimental sites (EXPS)
  • Capacity-building activities for farmers and facilitators
  • Coordination of co-creation processes
  • Monitoring and impact assessment planning

The consortium also reviewed technical progress in several areas, which included soil baseline establishment, monitoring frameworks, erosion modelling, climate projections, and the development of the LivingSoiLL soil database.

Finally, the meeting concluded with the definition of next steps across Work Packages. Additionally, was also announced the next in-person Consortium Meeting, which will be hosted by the Andalusian Living Lab.

As LivingSoiLL enters a deeper implementation phase, the consortium continues to focus on coordinated action. At the same time, it strengthens monitoring and promotes collaborative innovation to improve soil health across Europe.
