LivingSoiLL Joins Forces with European Soil Projects at Third Sibling Projects Meeting
On 9 February 2026, LivingSoiLL joined the third Sibling Projects meeting, in a session that brought together soil health initiatives from across Europe for an afternoon of shared updates and collaborative planning.
The online gathering gave participants a dynamic platform to share updates, exchange insights, and explore joint action. In addition to LivingSoiLL, representatives from GOV4ALL, iCOSHELLs, SOILCRATES, and LILAS4SOIL joined the call. Their presence reflects the Mission’s growing spirit of collaboration across Europe’s soil health community.
The agenda covered several key topics. Partners discussed a proposal for a European Soil Health Festival in autumn 2027. This continent-wide initiative aims to engage citizens, students, and farmers through coordinated activities across Living Labs. The group also addressed upcoming soil literacy events, policy recommendations, and knowledge-sharing on Living Lab business models.
Partners explored how to strengthen ties between Living Labs in the same country or working on similar themes. Cross-visits and joint events emerged as promising next steps.
The next Sibling Meeting takes place in late May or early June 2026. Stay tuned for more updates as Europe’s soil health projects keep growing together.
